Getting to Know Jessica R




My name is: Jessica R

My favorite dinner is: Papa Murphy’s Hawaiian Pizza

My favorite dessert is: Red Mango Frozen Yogurt

My favorite flower is: Tiger Lily

My favorite hobby is: Creating...Anything

My favorite restaurant is: Carabba’s 

A game I like to play is: Monopoly Deal

The music I listen to most is: Country

My favorite thing to buy is: Bacon

A book I highly recommend is: The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins

A movie I watch over and over is: Tangled

A smell that makes me pause is: Summer (fresh cut grass, flowers, barbecues, sun tan lotion, chlorine, etc.)

The city I would most like to visit is: Athens

My favorite thing to do on a date is: Mini Golf, Movie, Frozen Yogurt

The best vacation I ever had was: At Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? hmmm.....

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Speak a foreign language

What chore do you absolutely hate doing? CLEANING THE BATHROOM!

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? By eating a Creamie and watching a show on Netflix

What do you think is your very best feature or characteristic? I’m a good listener

What is the "thing" you are most grateful for? My family (of course), besides that, my health

What is your dream vacation? Going somewhere warm (tropical, if possible) and being active (kayaking, backpacking, etc.)

What's the coolest thing you've ever done? Lived in Wymount!

How did you meet your husband? We grew up in the same stake and had mutual 
 friends.  

How did he propose? He took me to a FANTASTIC restaurant in downtown Spokane, then took me to a bridge overlooking the Spokane Falls, said some mushy, gushy stuff I don’t remember, then asked me to be with him forever

The best thing about being married is: Not being single

What do you and your husband like to do together? Hike, camp, mini golf, play card and board games, swim, and watch the Cosby Show.

What would be your perfect day? Going to the water park with my family, taking a nap, eating good food, not doing dishes, visiting with friends, and going on a date with Ryan.

What was the best advice you got/would give on marriage? Be patient.

What story does your family always tell about you? When I was little (5 or 6 years) I would get up on the coffee table, picnic table, couch, you name it and do a dance that I called the “Juicy Pride”.

  2. So fun reading this, Jessica. The "Juicy Pride" dance, huh? That's so funny. I'd like to see that. And it IS pretty cool to live in Wymount ;)....I still can't believe that you guys run as a family sometimes- One day maybe I can aspire to that....PS-Brade and I think Ryan will be a great Elder's Quorum President.
